I am honored and humbled to have the confidence placed in me to lead Monroe County High School. Being a Monroe County native, I am blessed to be able to prepare our future leaders and help my community grow. It is my hope that we help our youth see that they have a great deal of potential and are capable of great things.
Monroe County is blessed to have great students who do not let being from a small, rural community hold them back. I love working with them on a daily basis. We also have great staff who are experts in their field. I have been so fortunate to work alongside them and am excited about what the future holds. They go to great lengths every day to make sure our students have what they need to be successful.
As principal, I will create a learning environment that will challenge students in order to provide them with the skills necessary to be marketable & competitive when they leave MCHS. We have high expectations for our students. Our hope is that they leave us with the confidence and skills needed to face whatever endeavors they take on. Most importantly, I want our students to learn to take responsibility for themselves and be self-reliant--to go above and beyond what they believe they can.
